Update on the Clean Oceans through Clean Communities (CLOCC) Programme

After several years of impactful work, Phase 1 of the Clean Oceans through Clean Communities (CLOCC) programme has officially closed. Since its launch in 2019, the programme has successfully driven improvements in local waste management systems, delivering tangible results in the ongoing effort to reduce marine plastic pollution.

As the programme transitions into Phase 2, the implementation will continue to be driven by the dedicated CLOCC coalition. However, this next phase will proceed without Sirk Norge in the lead role. We are incredibly proud of the foundation built during Phase 1 and look forward to seeing the coalition's continued progress in tackling marine pollution moving forward.

Clean Oceans through Clean Communities (CLOCC) is a community & network driven programme owned by Sirk Norge and funded by Norad (the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation).

Our vision is to achieve healthy societies and a clean environment - through sustainable communities, green jobs and business opportunities in local circular economies.
